Go to a performance
On the 27nd April, we have a big project in GCA. That is a performance called:“fashion show” . I heard fashion show is the show that students and teachers wear some fashion clothes to show their products. I have not seen it before, so I was looking forward to it very much.In the afternoon, about 6:30, I have sat in the skylight. This time, the hosts and models were preparing the show. I saw many models I know, so I encourage them could have a good show. About five minutes later, the fashion show was start!At the first, the hosts are in grade 10; they introduce some people from outside school that would dance the street dancing. Then the light all turned off, I saw two girls stands the stage, then all the light was turned on, the music sounded at the same time, the two girls were dancing, I was surprised that they danced so well! Later, there had four or five people danced together, the whole audience is in ferment. I shouted with joy when I saw it! Dancing was finished, the models all appeared, it was more glamorous，the student just cannot stop taking photos. The teacher models are really good, I like all the teacher models, because they can relax themselves, and the clothes have different characteristics, they have ripe experience. Our group’s model is Chanel, she was more beautiful during the show, and her black party clothes looked like a star! I really surprised about her, she is great!The fashion show was over, but the scene always in my mind! I really want to be a model to take part in the next fashion show!

Religion
On the 28nd April, Suzy and me went to the Jiming temple. JiMing temple is near our school, after school, we went to there together.
Jiming temple is the belief in a god or in a group of gods, I know the religion have many ways: Buddhism----The doctrine, attributed to Buddha, that suffering is inseparable from existence but that inward extinction of the self and of worldly desire culminates in a state of spiritual enlightenment beyond both suffering and existence. Christianity----The Christian religion, founded on the life and teachings of Jesus. Islam----the religion which teaches that there is only one God and that Muhammad is God's prophet: the religion of Muslims. Judaism----The monotheistic religion of the Jews, tracing its origins to Abraham and having its spiritual and ethical principles embodied chiefly in the Bible and the Talmud.
I like these statues best, They are symbolizing the great god, many people thought this is a belief or way of behaving that is based on fear of the unknown and faith in magic or luck: a belief that certain events or things will bring good or bad luck. But some people still believe it, they think that is sacred cause. In they hearts, these gods’ body image cannot destroy or the insult, even if you do not believe it, you also cannot disparage it.
During this visit , we all excited, it is really perfect! I like it, it is the first time I have seen! I will go the other religions to visit!

Volunteer --------fashion show
Fashion show is coming; I took part in the volunteer for fashion show. I did this job about 2 days before the show start. We have about 10 people to do this big project. A most volunteer are from 10-D and 10-C. Ms. Hadley gave us some duties, my duty is made letters and spread on it.
At the beginning, Grace asked me to draw an “a”, I finished it perfectly! She was surprised that I can do it so fast! I like drawing when I was very young, so I did the job easily. The next work is for these letter chart color. Our several people were in discussing how to spread the color to be able to cause “fashion show” to reveal under the light illumination prominently. At the beginning, we had a lot idea for it, so we showed to Ms. Hadley. Ms. Hadley said that it is unnecessary to tell her, because we are the designers. So, after a long discussion, we had an excellent means, that is spreads the different color on each letter, looks like the camouflage clothing to be same. After the question solution, we started to begin construction! Evelyn and me is a group, spread the color for “f”. If wants to spread the image formation like the camouflage clothing effect, is not a simple thing, it needs the enough patience and the care. At first, I draw the curve for “f”, and then we use yellow, red, green, blue, dark green five colors to spread. Ms. Hadley gave us enough pigments and pens. We worked carefully, each colors all passed by us. A few minutes later, Ms Hadley asked us how to divide these plates. We said that is just our feeling，have no artifices. We help Ms. Hadley finished the plates at last!
During the process of the spread, we have some problems. Because ours careless, some colors be spread wrong by us, it looked a little evidence，we must smooth over a fault, we thought a lot, at last, we had an idea: Use more white colors to cover the superfluity. We try it again; the result was we are successful!!! We really felt excited! After this a small success, we have enough confidence to face the next work! About fifteen minutes later, the first letter “f” was finished! We were the fastest group in all the volunteers! We looked at our product, so beautiful, so splendor！the other volunteers all commend us！Along with the fashion show’s successful finish, the volunteers are happy! It have ours blood and sweat！
During this volunteer process, I felt enrich and happy，I felt I can help people do some thing that I will try my best, I felt I will be useful for people, I find I have more value for people around me! And I really enjoy the punitive spirit，I really thank this process!

Public events Mochou Lake
On 18nd April morning. May and me went to the Mochou lake. Because we are both live in the dorm, so we went there together. We heard Mochou Lake is big and beautiful, and there was holding a flower show. We all look forward to it.
About half an hour, we arrived the Mochou Lake. There are a lot of people. We spent 20 Yuan per person on the tickets, we felt so-so about this cost.
When we into the lake, countless colorful flowers in our eyes, “spring is coming” I thought. We found a clump of yellow flowers; we took the photos at once. We walk along the path; the wind blows us slowly, made us felt comfortable.
I love the Chinese wisteria best. I heard it in the test book, I never seen it before. I just know it is a purple flower, always a clump. But that day, I was surprised I can see it in Mochou Lake! Looked by far, is only a group purple, is connecting closely, looks like the waterfall to be same, because they are put up above the alcove. Then look it carefully, you will discover each flowers are also charming. Each flower sent forth a delicate fragrance. Under the alcove, some people sat the stool to have rests. May and me can’t wait to taking photos!
We visited a lot of views during this walking. I like the lake although it is not very big. The fish swam carefree. I like this feeling. I want to walk along the lake, forever…….

Mexican meal
This is the second time I eat Western food. This time, my friends May, Maria and I eaten together. That day, we heard that the Mexican restaurant discounted, so we went there at once!
That day was raining. We walked all the way; this appears to be more emotional appeal. Very quickly, we got there.
Into the room, I felt very warm, the room’s color is yellow and orange, made people felt happy. The waiter were very passion, they introduced us the menu that they have the specialty dishes······the waiters are teenagers, they chatting with us.
In the beginning, Maria ordered a pizza, May and I ordered grilled wings, bacon and two small cakes! Dishes have not yet up, we sat on the sofa waiting for. The sofa is very soft, very comfortable brought Maria computer, she played on the computer. May and I picked up the camera, photographing each other. We played for a long time.
Long time ago, the dishes were yet up. It smelled very delicious. We could not wait to eating. At the once, we became two little pigs, just eating.
This time I think is different between Chinese food and island food. Chinese food has many kinds of forces. And the island food is very sweet. Mexican food is different. I ate the grilled wings first. I have not eaten it before. It is a little sweet, a little salt, and the wings were very big, and the wing’s meat is more. Bacon is very nice! I ate it quickly! At last, I ordered a cake. It is a little cold. It was a chocolate, very delicious! Like an ice, soft, cold······and the waiter was always poured for us, the water of glass is lemonade, if it cold, the waiter was change it at the monment.
During eating time, I have a big found! The place of toilet is very strange! When I got in the toilet, I have a little blackout·····there all were glasses, I into there, everywhere were me, I have a little uncomfortable, that moment, I felt unsafe. But the toilet is big, and clean·····
Around us, there have a lot of people. The most of them are teenager, and some foreign. They were eating or drinking. Many people took the computer to work. Maybe because of the weather, that day , the Mexican restaurants have too many guests. And the music is also soft, slowly，the environment is so suitable, make people do not want to leave！That day, I only spent 20 RMB, it is very boon. We stayed in there long time!
In Nanjing, a lot of Western restaurants have their own features. This restaurant influenced to me. I was satisfactions about this dinner! No matter what, If have other chose again, I will take my family to come here to eat!

Nanjing Museum of Paleontology
Weekend two weeks ago, my roommate and I go along with the Nanjing Museum of Paleontology. Chose the museum because it is relatively near distance of our schools, back and forth more convenient, and we are comparison of paleontological interest。
To enter the museum, the first thing is to see the dinosaurs, of course, this is fake artificial skeleton. But do not look carefully watch are not out to be false, and it has been too realistic! Here there also have a lot of paleontology, such as fish, shellfish, corals, and other apes. But in this museum, I like a garden best!
It is a special garden. This makes me feel as if returned to the dinosaur era: a pterosaur fly the sky, crawling on all fours on the ground lizards, snakes coiled lot of strange in the trees, the woods stood a huge dinosaur. Everything is so realistic! I like dinosaurs when I was very young, I would want to know why the dinosaurs disappeared, the world has on how many kinds of dinosaurs, are they like us once, like human life, are they have feelings？When I got into the garden, I was so excited! But my friends were afraid of it, maybe I am too brave!
My roommate and I took a lot of pictures; I think this will be my memories. I really enjoy the Nanjing Paleontology Museum, I learned a lot! After there is the chance, I think I will go again!

During this holiday, I did many physical activity, such as jogs, the rope skipping, kicks the shuttlecock, plays the badminton······I felt very happy!
The first day, my family played with me. We want to play basketball in XUZHOU basketball count, but there are too many people played basketball, have no idea, we must leave······When we got home, my father advised that we can play badminton! So, we bought a badminton ball to play.
At the beginning, I played with my mother at first. Mother’s ball skill is so-so, so I played very good! About 10 minutes, mother became very tired, and then my daddy came up played with me. The daddy is really very fierce, half an hour gets down does not take an effort。I do not concede, centralized attention, continuously strong。Afterwards, I have been really tired, plays a ball game the strength also changed has been small, a pair of badminton racket has all picked off, really was sweating profusely, backache backache. Finally, finally I could not persist, was tired sits ground in.
Afterwards several days, I start to kick the shuttlecock. I kick the shuttlecock to kick very much well from I very small time. I did the volunteer is in a textile mill，it made me learned a lot of truths.
The first day，I was very curiosity and excited，I do not know what is the textile mill, and what I will do. When I got there，there are all girls in the textile room，and the boss walk around the textile room. These girls are doing their work by themselves. But only a few people do not pay attention while boss, chats each other secretly in that。I found they are so cute! Very quickly，the boss let me to put on the trouser belt to the pants in，at the beginning，I think that was very easy，indeed，I made very good！I did it very carefully，there are few sisters behind me，they taught me how to put on the trouser belt to the pants in，they are my teachers! I am an active people，so I was deal seriously with this work ！
Meets down several days， I all very earnest work， has had the very good sentiment with these staff elder sisters! They all are over twenty years old of even eighteen， nineteen year-old elder sisters， because the study not good or the family condition not good comes here to work makes money. Their each month wages has eight， nine hundred, someone thousands， all are the number of articles which works according to them determined。They looked at their hand to me， I saw all freezes inflamed， they said very is every day early gets up， hurriedly comes to the company， to start to work. In work period cannot speak mutually chats， cannot look around， must have the work work••••••A day past，whole body backache backache， only wanted to go home sleeps. I participate is volunteer club, I like this club very much, it is one has the compassion club very much , we all played with blinder children happily each time!
First time arrived the blind school , saw such loses one's sight the child , I shock very much, they except cannot see everything , other and average man not any difference .Looked they in the earnest study Braille , in my heart was very sad 。。。。。。
From the first day start , the child who I played has not changed .His name is called the wang qi , 10 years old, his eyes only can feel the weak light .He likes chatting very much, we sit frequently nearby the garden chat with each other . He knew the thing are very many , first he asked me about mouse's question , he appeared very excitedly , I thought he likes the mouse, therefore second time comes to play him I brought the mouse toy to give him , he was very happy! Once he let me help him to seize the butterfly , does not stop asked I am the yellow color butterfly , I did not know unexpectedly how should describe 。。。。。。 only feels this innocent child really very unfortunate .Wang Qi is a clever boy ,he should not be blind! He called me “sister rui rui” ,and he only follow me ,other people want to play with him ,he always smiled , ran to me and told the people :“I have a sister already!” I stood in front of him ,was very happy!

From the first day start , the child who I played has not changed .His name is called the wang qi , 10 years old, his eyes only can feel the weak light .He likes chatting very much, we sit frequently nearby the garden chat with each other . He knew the thing are very many , first he asked me about mouse's question , he appeared very excitedly , I thought he likes the mouse, therefore second time comes to play him I brought the mouse toy to give him , he was very happy! Once he let me help him to seize the butterfly , does not stop asked I am the yellow color butterfly , I did not know unexpectedly how should describe 。。。。。。 only feels this innocent child really very unfortunate .Wang Qi is a clever boy ,he should not be blind! He called me “sister rui rui” ,and he only follow me ,other people want to play with him ,he always smiled , ran to me and told the people :“I have a sister already!” I stood in front of him ,was very happy!
We each Sunday all come the blind school to look after the children.They call us “elder brother kindly the elder sister”. We lead them to make the game, brings a small between-meal snack for them to eat, for them the clearest concern, helps them with ours sincerity .

I learn very many in this club very many . Along with the club member 's growth , I realize have very many students all silently to pay attention to these unfortunate actually , because just this club only then causes me to become has more the compassion , saw the members have a mind to protect the children , really good happy , this club was participates is right! In China we have a lot of people need help , and we must try our best to help them!
It is meaningful to take part in the Volunteer Club! I love this volunteer club!

Wu Wei Shan’s Exhibition
In December 4, we visited Wu Wei Shan Cultural Figures Sculpture Gallery. I like Art, so I also interest in sculpture. I have never seen the sculpture exbition before. I was looked forward to watch it.
That morning, I took the bus with friend May [in 10-C]to arrived Nanjing Museum. The Nanjing Museum is by nature a museum of history and art-the art it houses reveals history to the visitors, who in turn enjoy artistic beauty in a historical environment.
I heard that Using artistically rendered images of people to “facilitate teachings and exhortations and to aid the adherence to the main ethical principles of cultural and ideological relations” has always been an important tradition in Chinese history. Professor Wu Weishan of Nanjing University—a renowned young sculptor—has crested sculpted portraits of culturally famous people with incomparable passion, and Nanjing Museum Is opening a special gallery to display these works, all for the sake of allowing visitors to appreciate the spirit of these great masters of culture while they view items of cultural heritage. This way, not only will we be able to deepen our understanding of history, culture and art, but we will also see these sculptures as artworks of historical significance. I think China’s culture is great. When I saw these artworks, l had many ideas.
I like “sleeping Child”. The portrait was modeled on a visit to a friend house. The child had been unwell and crying most of the day but had now fallen asleep its mouth open because it had difficulty breathing through the nose. Some people think it is not so good, it looked like a death body……but I think it is very close to live. It is small but very refinement. I also like “Ah Bing”. He is a blinder and very poor, but he is very brave, he played er hu for live. Wu Wei Shan found it and sculpture his spirit.
Wu Wei Shan has already created sculptures of more than 200 famous people, Chinese and foreign, and those active in cultural arenas. Some of these works are realistic, some have bolder outlines. Wu Wei Shan is especially skilled in making the latter, those words are exquisite in sense that they seem to have been created quickly without a pause .yet, and they were not made hastily, in order to capture it. This freehand style is both traditionally Chinese and contemporary. Among his works, I particularly admire the sculpted portraits of zhang jian, qi bai shi, Lin sanzhi and xiao Xian. The one that touches me the most is the portrait if Mr. fang you land, who was my teachers. This sculpted portrait is achieved with great success. In its entirety it is a somber and awe-inspiring rock, with the infusion of all mr.feng you lan’s speech and actions and the joys and sorrows, happiness and grief, and success and adversity he experienced in his 95 years of life. MR.feng is depicted as gazing fixedly forward, the look in his eyes giving testament to a lifetime of tireless pondering and judgment-making.
I love this, I got many skills, many knowledge!

foreign food
In December28 , I ate the Italian food in Jack’s place with my classmates. It is a western restaurant in WangFu street.It was my first time to eat Western food.I was excited!
We choose this restaurant because we heard it is cheaper and delicious.When I arrived here,it was 6：00p.m. I was hungry,so I ordered two dishes:Italian noodles and a 9 inch’s pizza.There atmosphere was peaceful,everybody were elegant.The waiters are friendly,we chated with them,and they introduced us the best food. Although it is winter now,but here’s air was warmmer. This restaurant had many people,most of them were teenager,but a lot were some adult.We took many photos and told about study with Grade 12 students.
Short times ago,my food were taken on.They looked beautiful,and smelled delicious,I ate the Italian noodles frist……Oh,it was more different with Chinese noodles,its taste was heavier,and harder.The pizza was colouerful,it was my first time to eat pizza.I shared this pizza with Sonia.it chawed comfortably,and had elasticity. Italian food is different with Chinese food,it is sweeter than China’s food,and test has many distinctions. I like Western food,it up my alley!but I love Chinese food,after all,it is my country food,and I am accustomed to eat！
I will recommend other people to eat there,because I think there is cheaper than other restaurants,the environment is good, atmosphere is quiet and there’s food is delicious,it is people’s need!I believe that more people will come here!
